Jets coach Rex Ryan says he expects OLB Aaron Maybin is "just scratching the surface" and can have a "big year for us." The Jets desperately need an edge rusher to put heat on quarterbacks in their new 46 defense. "I expect him to have a big year rushing the passer," Ryan said, citing Maybin's improved knowledge of the scheme. Signed in training camp after the Bills cut him a year ago, Maybin notched six sacks and four forced fumbles in 11 appearances off the bench. He's competing to be a starter in 2012.
