Jeremy Maclin (hip) will not practice on Wednesday.
It's not a good sign, but coach Andy Reid was quick to note that Maclin has not been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Ravens. He did participate in the morning walkthrough and has a history of playing through injury drama. This remains a fluid, day-to-day situation.
Short QBs need to roll out or take deep drop backs in order to locate their downfield receivers. Vick is among those height challenged QBs.

Look at Vicks rushing stats his first season with the Eagles and then look at 2011's rushing stats for Vick. Notice the big drop off? reid is stuck with a rushing QB that is short and Reid doesn't want to see him hurt from rushing the football.
The Eagles could be in the market for a new head coach very soon.
