Jeremy Maclin does not expect a new contract before next season. The Eagles have a history of locking up players they developed before they hit free agency. The fact that they won't do so with Maclin speaks volumes. Despite plenty of raw talent, the 2009 first-round pick has never reached 1,000 yards in a season. However, he'll be a great bet to do so in 2013 as a highly-motivated player in Chip Kelly's up-tempo scheme.
