Jenkins (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Justin Tasch of the New York Daily News reports. Jenkins' absence is a major blow for the Giants' struggling run defense, especially with Frank Gore, Carlos Hyde and Colin Kaepernick heading into town Sunday. Rookie Jay Bromley could see some action with Jenkins out.
