Jackson was able to throw Tuesday and is considered probable by coach Pete Carroll to be available for the opener against the Rams on Sunday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson has been dealing with a high-ankle sprain over the past few weeks but it appears he's healed up just in time to be Russell Wilson's primary backup Sunday. If Jackson suffers a setback for whatever reason, the Seahawks will have to seriously considered adding another quarterback to their roster with no current third stringer in place at the moment.
