EDGE Analysis
It remains to be seen how much of a workload the 32-year-old back will see in his debut with the Patriots, but if things go as hoped, he could progress to absorbing a decent share of the team's "big back" duties previously handled by LeGarrette Blount. Jackson's presence will also allow the Patriots to use Brandon Bolden more on special teams, with James White slotting in as the team's top change-of-pace/pass-catching back and versatile newcomer Joey Iosefa on hand for depth purposes.
