Hill caught four passes for 36 yards on 11 targets against Green Bay on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Hill's targets weren't especially useful for the Chiefs in the 13-7 win, but there was only so much he could do with Patrick Mahomes struggling badly yet again, completing just 20 of 37 attempts for 166 yards and one touchdown. The Chiefs have seen relatively friendly pass defenses the last three weeks (Green Bay, the Giants and Tennessee), yet Mahomes has just two touchdowns in that span and in each game averaged less than 6.0 yards per pass. Clearly there are foundational issues facing the Chiefs offense, and some sort of course correction might be necessary for them to break out of their slump. The good news for Hill is he's seen 38 targets in that span, and with his abilities that sort of usage will yield results eventually, even if the rest of the offense struggles. The Chiefs will probably give Hill another big workload when they head to Las Vegas to play the Raiders in Week 10.
