Davis (hip) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Davis was added to the injury report Thursday and later listed as doubtful after missing Friday's practice. His absence should free up playing time for some combination of Elijah Moore, Denzel Mims and Keelan Cole, while Jamison Crowder figures to get most of the slot targets from backup quarterback Mike White. A Thursday game in Week 9 (against the Colts) increases the odds of Davis (and starting QB Zach Wilson) missing additional time.
