Moss (arm) is slated to practice Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Colts will issue their first practice report of the regular season later Wednesday, when the extent of Moss' participation will be known. In any case, the running back is making progress in his recovery from a broken arm and could be available to see some Week 1 snaps. If Moss is cleared to play in Sunday's game against the Jaguars, he would likely be part of a backfield committee that would likely include Deon Jackson and Evan Hull. With that in mind, head coach Shane Steichen suggested that he plans to ride the hot hand among his running backs rather than immediately anointing Moss, Jackson or Hull as the team's top option out of the backfield while Jonathan Taylor (ankle) is on the PUP list.
