In his post-game press conference, Josh Freeman denied he will seek a trade ahead of October's deadline. "If it's going on, I need a new camp," he said. The pronoun "it" apparently refers to trade demands, while the word "camp" apparently refers to Freeman's agent(s). Meanwhile, coach Greg Schiano also denied Freeman didn't receive a Bucs captaincy because of missed meetings. So it was a post-game press conference full of denials, less than an hour removed from New Orleans' denial of a Tampa Bay win. The Buccaneers are 0-2, and there is obvious friction between the Bucs' coach and his quarterback. The ship appears to be sinking, just two games in.

Whether he wants out of TB or not, if he thinks any team short of maybe Jacksonville would be remotely interested in giving even a seventh-round draft pick up for him. He's Byron Leftwich v2.0.

Most of the discord I hear are the famous news guys talking it up, TB had their meeting and it's done with.
