Head coach Mike Tomlin said Ebron (knee) is still being evaluated and is considered questionable as the Steelers begin preparations for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Missi Matthews of the Steelers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron was sidelined for Weeks 8 and 9 with a hamstring injury, but the veteran tight end is now dealing with a new concern after hurting his knee over the weekend in the Steelers' 41-37 loss to the Chargers. Pittsburgh will presumably wait and see what Ebron is able to do in practices Wednesday through Friday before reassessing his odds of playing this weekend, but if Ebron is forced to miss his third game of the season, Zach Gentry would be the next man up for reps behind top tight end Pat Freiermuth.
