Dorsett, who joined the Texans' organization 10 days ago, was put to immediate use after Davion Davis left the game with an ankle injury. He played 39 snaps (48 percent share), which is significant for a newcomer. Dorsett has very little experience in the offense or familiarity with rookie quarterback Davis Mills, but that could develop over the final weeks of the season if Davis is unavailable.
