Going into the final year of his rookie contract, Jeremy Maclin hopes to re-sign with the Eagles. "This is the team and organization that drafted me. I don't want to leave," Maclin said. "All I can do is go out there and play ball, and I'm going to play to the best of my ability." Maclin has deemed the initial talks as "whatever," but expects them to improve. Unless the new coaching staff is smitten with what it sees in the preseason, Maclin will likely play out his deal without an extension.
