Gordon cleared waivers Tuesday, after which the Chiefs are expected to sign him to the practice squad, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since joining the Chiefs' active roster in early October, Gordon was unable to make much headway in the team's receiving corps, topping out at a 43 percent snap share Week 10, missing Week 15 due to a stint on the reserve/COVID-19 list and being inactive for both playoff games to date. Once he's officially back on the practice squad, he'll likely vie with Daurice Fountain for elevation for as long as Kansas City remains alive in the postseason.
