Bada (Achilles) was waived with an injury designation by the Lions on Tuesday.

Bada suffered the injury in Detroit's preseason opener against the Giants on Aug. 8 and has remained sidelined since. The injury certainly derailed the 29-year-old's chances of making the team out of camp. He should revert to IR once he clears waivers.
