Cotton was cut from the Cardinals' practice squad Tuesday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Cotton spent most of last season on the Jaguars' practice squad, ultimately appearing in one contest for the franchise. He linked up with the Cardinals on Sept. 14, yet it appears his time with the franchise will be short. He'll now work to earn an opportunity elsewhere.
