Hayes was selected in the fifth round of the 2021 Draft and was a healthy scratch the first two weeks of the season. He was injured in his NFL debut during a Week 3 contest against the Lions and missed the rest of the season. Now fully recovered, Hayes will work to earn a role in the Ravens' linebacker corps for 2022.
