GM Brandon Beane said this week that while he expects Addison -- an unrestricted free agent -- to explore the market, he's very open to having the veteran return to the team, the Bills' official site reports.

Addison is one of Beane's many Panthers connections from his Carolina days and the veteran has spent two seasons with the Bills, totaling 12 sacks and 59 tackles over those two campaigns. Addison will be 35 during the 2022 campaign, so we doubt there's a big free-agent figure awaiting him, but it sounds like he'll at least explore the market. It sounds like the cash-strapped Bills are interested in bringing him back at a cost-friendly deal should Addison not find a golden ticket elsewhere for what might be his final NFL contract.
