Freeney (quadriceps) did not practice Monday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Freeney was able to give it a go during Sunday's tilt against the Packers and isn't believed to have sustained any sort of injury. It's likely the veteran was simply given the day off considering the Falcons have a quick turnaround in Week 9, playing Thursday night against the Bucs.
