Freeman signed with the Colts on Tuesday, Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
With 2014 UDFA Stephen Morris being the only other healthy quarterback on the roster, it isn't entirely out of the question that Freeman could start Sunday's regular-season finale against the Titans. Granted, Freeman would only have five days to prepare, but Morris has only been on the roster since last week. Of course, the team hasn't officially ruled out Andrew Luck (kidney) or Matt Hasselbeck (shoulder), so there are still a bunch of different ways the situation could play out. Freeman, the 17th overall selection in the 2009 NFL Draft, never lived up to the promise of his impressive sophomore campaign in 2010.
