Free agent QB Mike Kafka worked out for the Cowboys on Thursday. It's the first we've heard of the former fourth-rounder since he was waived by the Jaguars in August. The Cowboys are set at their top two quarterback spots, while a No. 3 is typically a developmental prospect. Kafka has long since tapped out as a prospect. Even if Kafka earns a contract, he won't crack the 53-man roster. The Cowboys might simply be looking for an extra body while Tony Romo rehabs from back surgery.
