Free agent DE/OLB Dwight Freeney said Peyton Manning has been recruiting him to come to Denver. Manning and Freeney spent 10 years together in Indianapolis. However, we wouldn't put much stock in Peyton's ability to evaluate defensive talent. Freeney, now 33, would be a poor fit in the Broncos' 3-4 -- even as a situational pass rusher. The Colts didn't even bother to make him a lowball offer.
