Jackson will miss the next 6-to-8 weeks after suffering a non-displaced fracture in his ankle during Thursday's win over the Giants, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was originally believed to have suffered a high ankle sprain, but ensuing tests have now determined the serious nature of the injury. The return timetable would suggest the veteran receiver could return near the end of the regular season, but it's possible the Eagles might simply take their time with Jackson's recovery process in the event they bow out of contention for a playoff spot. It's worth noting Jackson, who has played in just 18 games over the past three seasons, does not plan to retire, though this newest injury will likely put him on injured reserve for the foreseeable future.

He’s had a rough past few years with injury. At 33 it’s gonna be an uphill climb to put up numbers and have a relevant role again.

This guy is made of glass, you blow him and he gets injured

Whilst I'd usually agree with your comment, I take it you didn't see the incident that caused this particular injury?

yeah you clearly didn’t watch the game or play he got hurt on...

Ty to the people commenting...cause ignorance runs deep when they don’t see or read material.

Yep people I saw the play he got injured on. Not speaking about this play in concrete, speaking about a guy he spent almost the last 3 seasons on IR, and gets injured too easily. Maybe its time to dedicate more time to his family and friends. There's life beyond football

If it wasn't for bad luck, he'd wouldn't have any luck at all

Brodys-Boys Sat 10/24/20 12:24 PM

you can blow him, I'm not
