Renck noted that the session wasn't full as Wednesday's will be, but the appearance marked Fowler's first in drills since breaking his right elbow on Aug. 11. Although Fowler is listed as a second-stringer on the depth chart, no wideouts outside of Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders hauled in a Trevor Siemian pass in Week 1 against the Panthers. In a run-heavy scheme, targets may be difficult to come by for Fowler.
