Former Dolphins and Chiefs WR Chris Chambers has retired from football. "I just want to be able to retire a Dolphin," he said. "I don't know what I have to do to get that 1-day contract, but that will be my next goal." Now 33, Chambers tried out for the 49ers last October, but didn't earn an in-season deal. Chambers' career ends after 10 seasons. He made a Pro Bowl in 2005, though that went down as easily Chambers' best ever year. He never cleared 1,000 yards again.
