Lawson compiled four tackles (three solo), two passes defended and an interception in a 23-20 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Lawson stepped into a big role for the first time since he joined the Jaguars after being let go by the Raiders earlier in the season. Playing 100 percent of the snaps, with Tyson Campbell out (toe), Lawson took advantage and made an impact. Going into a bye week, and Campbell's status up in the air it's hard to say whether Lawson will receive a more prominent role going forward. He'll try to build on this performance in Week 8 against Seattle.
