Falcons signed LB Thomas Howard. LB Jamar Chaney was waived in a corresponding roster move. A longtime Raider, Howard was signed by the Bengals in 2012, but tore his ACL in Week 2. If he's all the way back, he could prove to be a nice depth signing for the Falcons' undermanned linebacker corps. Howard turned 30 in July.
