ESPN's Chris Mortensen told NFL Live Friday that the Titans likely wouldn't have exercised Jake Locker's fifth-year option even had Mike Munchak stayed on as head coach. Munchak, of course, was part of the team that selected Locker with the eighth pick in the 2011 draft. It's telling that the Titans wouldn't have locked in Locker even under the coaching staff that worked with him for three full years. Locker's durability has been poor, but his on-field performance has been just as concerning. He has an 18:15 TD-to-INT ratio over the last two seasons (18 games), with a 57.9 completion rate and 6.9 YPA, absorbing 41 sacks.
