ESPN NFC East blogger Dan Graziano doesn't expect the Eagles to sign Jeremy Maclin to a long-term deal. The Eagles had "preliminary discussions" about an extension for Maclin, but he remains a strong candidate to play out the final year of his rookie deal without a new contract. Maclin is coming off a mediocre 2012 and is unproven in Chip Kelly's scheme. The sides are unlikely to reach a deal before next offseason.
