Etheridge (illness) was placed on the Falcons' practice squad COVID-19 list Monday and tested positive for the virus, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Etheridge has only contributed on special teams while with the active roster this season. However, with fellow linebackers Brandon Copeland and James Vaughters also on the COVID list, Etheridge could find his way to the active roster Sunday against Buffalo if he is able to clear protocols in time.
