The Broncos are short on wide receivers since Tim Patrick (shoulder) is a game-time decision and Diontae Spencer (hamstring) has already been ruled out. Brown was called up from the practice squad as a result, and he's set to make his season debut Sunday against the Chargers. He'll be deep on the depth chart even if Patrick doesn't play, but he could contribute on special teams immediately.
