Eagles released FB Leonard Weaver. The Eagles are on the hook for $1 million of Weaver's $2.5 million salary after a career-threatening injury. Weaver shredded the knee, tearing his ACL and PCL while also suffering nerve damage. As if that wasn't bad enough, he's also undergone a tendon transfer surgery on his left foot -- believed to be the first of its kind for a football player. We don't expect to see him in a uniform in 2011, though we hope to see him back on the field at some point.
