The Broncos waived Howard on Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.

Howard spent 2019 bouncing on and off of Denver's practice squad due to an ankle injury sustained in training camp, but he's now become expendable following the arrival of fourth-round rookie tight end Albert Okwuegbunam. He'll work to get another shot elsewhere in the league.
