Burgess was waived by the Commanders on Tuesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

The 2020 third-round pick out of Utah will not make the Commanders roster after signing with the team on May 30. Burgess also spent time with the Rams and Giants, appearing in 31 games throughout his three-year NFL career. He'll now be forced to look for a new home ahead of the coming season.
