Doctson's foot injury is not considered a cause for concern and his absence from recent action has seemingly been for precautionary purposes, CSN Mid-Atlantic's Rich Tandler reports.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson missed some recent OTAs due to a reported foot issue, but his inactivity is mostly due to how early in the season it is, not how serious the injury is. While last week's X-rays returned negative, Doctson is still expected to take it easy to avoid any lingering symptoms. In the end, he should be fine when the Redskins need him most, which would help his push for a starting position during training camp.

Skins play plenty of 3 reciever sets so he may not be a "starter", but will still get his.

Injury not serious can you say Kevin White!!!!

Hey Gibbs how's it?

I'd not be surprised if the 3 top receivers were Doctson, Jackson and Crowder.

Yeah with Garçon being moved.

I mean, he's way behind his best days, his cap hit is huge, he's at his contract yr.

Crowder & Doctson are the future of the Redskins.

The foot is minor. Sprained toe is what i heard.

Garcon will play out his contract year and be the #2 wr behind DJax with crowder and doc getting plenty of reps. Also have reed at TE so you know thos will be a massive aerial assault. If that does not open up the run game, nothin will.

Garcon is still a beast between 7 and 15 yards. He hurts people trying to tackle him. Dude is cock strong and a great possession reciever and compliment to a speedster like DJax. I love watching him play.

Crowder and doc are the future. No doubt about it. Would not shock me to see doc become the possession reciever woth crowder streatchin the field with a rookie mixed in as #3 in 2017. That means both DJax and Garcon will be gone after 2016.

And both white and perriman had stress fractures. Doc does not. Whites was in his shin, perriman was his knee. Both should be ready to go this year.
