Doctson was bothered by his hamstring on and off throughout August, making just one appearance during the preseason. There was some talk that Ryan Grant could push the 2016 first-round pick for regular work in three-wide formations, but Doctson is listed alongside Terrelle Pryor and Jamison Crowder as a starter on the Week 1 depth chart. Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Wednesday that Doctson's natural talent for route running should help him get up to speed with Kirk Cousins even though the two haven't gotten much of a chance to work together, ESPN.com's John Keim reports. Doctson is still a speculative fantasy commodity, as he's no better than fourth in line for targets as part of an offense that also features tight ends Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis and pass-catching back Chris Thompson.
