Doctson (Achilles) was a full participant at Monday's practice, but he did say afterward that he expects to start the season with a limited role, the team's official website reports. "I'm not going to step foot on Monday night or put a uniform on there and get myself embarrassed," Doctson said. "We've got guys, Pierre, Jackson, Crowder, Reed, we've got guys who are going to get it done. If somebody gets tired, I'm going to go in there and help out. That's my position.

Finally activated from the PUP list on Saturday, the Redskins' first-round draft pick practiced with his teammates Monday for the first time since OTAs in May. Doctson still remains questionable for Monday's opener against the Steelers, and as suggested by his comments, active status probably won't lead to a significant role. He does still have a shot to push Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder for snaps -- perhaps even within the first few weeks of the season.
