Dockett was released by the Cardinals on Friday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Dockett already acknowledged the possibility of a split, but it's still possible the two sides will work things out as the veteran defensive tackle prepares for his age-34 season. Never one to be shy about his opinions, Dockett seems to have a good relationship with the Arizona fanbase and organization. Now more than six months removed from tearing the ACL and MCL in his right knee, Dockett should be healthy in time for the start of the 2015 season. He had 46 tackles (36 solo) and 4.5 sacks over 16 games in 2013, and he's long been more valuable than his statistics alone suggest.
