Quarterback Josh Allen said last week that Beasley's production will be helped and not hurt by the addition of Stefon Diggs this offseason, The Buffalo News reports. "I think this is going to give them an opportunity to have more chances to catch the ball," Allen said on Sirius XM NFL Radio in reference to Beasley and fellow receiver John Brown. "They had career years and everybody talking about the addition of Stefon Diggs will hurt their value. I think it's the other way around ... Cole, on the inside, if you put a nickel on him, he's a tough cover in man-to-man."

EDGE Analysis

We're not completely sold on increased production for either Brown or Beasley, as the Bills prefer to maintain a strong running game to go with their top-level defense and there are only so many balls to go around for Diggs, Brown, Beasley, tight end Dawson Knox and running back Devin Singletary. However, Beasley is the clear slot guy and it's likely the other guys will be competing against each other with more frequency than the guy who sticks to short, over-the-middle patterns. Beasley put up an impressive 67-778-6 line last season, and while the career-high touchdowns may be tough to match, we also don't see a huge hit to his targets and effectiveness coming. He remains a consistent fantasy play with little upside for 2020.
