Britt (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Thursday.

The veteran center hyperextended and bruised his knee in October, but he was able to return in Week 7. However, Britt was subsequently moved to IR, and rookie Jimmy Morrissey has been starting at center. The Texans now have 21 days to activate Britt to the 53-man roster, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to return to action this Sunday.
