While Shell (ankle) has not officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, he is considered unlikely to play, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Shell has been sidelined since injuring his ankle two weeks ago. Coach Pete Carroll expressed optimism in regard to him turning a corner in his recovery, but it sounds like a Week 14 return against the Jets is the likelier scenario at this point.
