Daniel is slated to join the Eagles, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. His deal with the team is reportedly for three years.
EDGE Analysis
While the Eagles have already elected to pay up in order to retain the services of starting QB Sam Bradford, Daniel now joins the team's backup mix, with the deal reuniting him with new Philadelphia coach Doug Pederson, who worked with Daniel while the two were both with the Chiefs. Daniel thus appears to be an injury away from a shot to helm the Eagles offense, but given Bradford's injury history, it's understandable that Pederson was interested in securing some trusted QB insurance.

Daniel's deal is longer than Bradfords.
