Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey did not report to the beginning of training camp as he seeks a new contract, according to the Dallas Morning News. Mincey, who led the team with six sacks last season, is set to make roughly $1.5 million in base salary this year. The 31-year-old holds little leverage at the moment, as he is in the final season of his contract and his role is likely to greatly diminish following the team's offseason acquisitions of Greg Hardy and Randy Gregory to boost the pass rush. It is unclear whether Mincey is seeking a multi-year extension or would simply like a pay raise after last season's efforts, and the team has yet to issue a statement on the matter. Players and coaches flew to California on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's training camp commencement, and it is unclear when Mincey will join them.
