Holmes signed with Miami on Tuesday to provide depth at tight end, but he was let go Thursday with Adam Shaheen (undisclosed) and Cethan Carter (undisclosed) returning from the COVID-19 list. Holmes hasn't seen game action since 2018 with the Cardinals and is without a catch in 10 career games.
