Cushing tore his MCL in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Bears and is expected to miss six weeks, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cushing just can't seem to stay healthy, as the torn ACL is an addition to an already extensive list of injuries the eighth-year linebacker has suffered throughout his career. The good news is that the tear will not require surgery, but with no Cushing for the next six weeks, the Texans will need unproven Max Bullough, who recorded only 30 combined tackles in 2015, to assume the starting middle linebacker position.
