Cushing did not play in Houston's preseason opener against San Francisco, nor did he participate in the joint practice sessions leading up to Sunday's game, but that was due to his veteran status. "Yeah, it was just a couple days just to rest," Cushing said. "I'm kind of getting up there in years and experience. Any kind of break benefits me at this point in my career."
