Crabtree grabbed nine of 16 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-33 upset win over the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Crabtree came alive in the second half, including his 29-yard touchdown at 2:12 of the third quarter. His whopping 16 targets were five more than rookie Amari Cooper, who finished with seven receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown. Derek Carr (thumb) looks healthy, after leaving the game in Week 1, so it will be interesting to see if Crabtree can rejuvenate his career in Oakland.
Michael Crabtree secured 9-of-16 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' Week 2 win over the Ravens. After a poor last season and slow preseason and Week 1, Crabtree more than showed signs of life in this one, racking up yards after catch in the first half. The return of Derek Carr was good news for all of Oakland's pass catchers. On a third-quarter play-action pass, Carr hit Crabtree for a 37-yard touchdown to give the Raiders a 30-20 lead. Still behind Amari Cooper in the pecking order, Crabtree will be a fringe WR3 option against Cleveland's stout pass defense in Week 3, but he's trending in the right direction so get him rostered.
