Cowboys released FB Lawrence Vickers. Per the club's website, Vickers' departure could free up $1.2 million in salary-cap space. If healthy, Vickers could appeal to clubs looking for a lower-cost alternative to Vonta Leach. Vickers did not participate in the Cowboys' offseason workouts after back surgery in April.
