Cowboys DE Marcus Spears is expected to miss the rest of the preseason with a strained groin. Spears is frustrated that the injury will take away from his progress learning DC Rob Ryan's defense, but he expects to be back for the season opener. The Cowboys have plenty of depth with Igor Olshansky and Jason Hatcher as rotational ends.
