Coach Sean Payton blamed Drew Brees' 2012 struggles on the lack of a running game.
"Just attempts," Payton said. "I think that it's easy to get into the mind-set that we throw it well, let's continue to. There's a whole other element in football." New Orleans ranked No. 25 in the league in rushing last season, but they were No. 6 the year before. Despite leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns, Brees threw 19 interceptions. Look for Payton to pound the running game more with Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas, and Chris Ivory in 2013.

Not to mention it none of the 3 could get in a rhythm making them less effective.
